MY MIND

Lost long ago, Found ???

Lessons Learned:

1. Test all of your tools before you use them.  I got a flat with my kevlar spoke tool because I didn’t know how to use it, which brings me to my next point…

2. Never let orphans use your pump.  They will break it and cause you to be stranded with a flat later on the road.

3. Wear sunscreen on your nose so you don’t need a plastic nose later in life.  Wear sunscreen on your lips so hot sauce doesn’t cause extreme pain.

Do you see that shreddage? Two have already snapped...

4. Install a spoke guard onto your wheel.  That way if for some reason your chain slips off into your wheel you don’t shred 4 spokes.

5. Clean the zipper of your tent so it doesn’t break and allow spiders to crawl into your tent.

6. A simple ground cover does not protect you from scorpions.

7. Don’t be a noob and deflate your tires too much.

8. Sand is more dangerous to your gear than water.  It has already claimed my camera’s lense and a tent zipper.

9. It is okay to carefully fold beaded tires, but not repeatedly.  Find a way to carry them without folding when necessary.

10. Going slow gives you more adventures, lazier days, and more stories.

More to come…
